Entry Level Computer Programmer

Revere Copper Products, Inc., an employee owned leader in the metals industry, has an opportunity for a Entry Level Computer Programmer at its Rome, NY facility. The position requires working in a team environment to develop applications for the Windows desktop to support business requirements. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of .Net, VB, ADO, and SQL. Candidates must be willing to learn additional skills/languages to support legacy systems. Key technologies include the Windows family of operating systems and servers, Novell Netware, IBM iSeries, DB2 and SQL Server databases. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is required. Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment and a working knowledge of SQL database administration, HTML, XML, RPG, or Java would be a plus.
